Results in the game are saved to the card. You can continue playing at any arcade.

Continue your progress in Story Mode and up your car, replace Dress-up parts earned in the Online Ghost Versus Battle Mode (some models excluded), collect Outrun Stars earned in the Local Arcade Versus Battle, and record your personal best time in the Time Attack. Just load your saved game results to continue playing at any arcade in the country Check the card contents on either the arcade cabinet or the "Wangan Terminal."

"Basic Data"

Displays the basic information about the registered car.

"Name"

Displays the input name (maximum of 5 letters).

"Title"

Displays level representing the player's progress in the game in the first half of the game, and the titles earned selected in the second half of the game.

"Model"

Displays the model used.

"Body Color"

Displays the body color of the car used.

"Horsepower"

Displays an index of the handling and horsepower depending on your tuning.
*Displays "Settings" for some models.

"Distance Raced"

Displays the total distance raced so far.

"Search Number"

Assigns a random number to each car. Search and select opponents using this number in the Online Ghost Versus Battle Mode.

"Registered Location"

Displays the location where the car is registered.

"Discarded Vehicle Card"

Displays the Discarded Vehicle Cards that can be gifted (maximum of 5 cars).
*The Discarded Vehicle Card display is shared among all cars registered on the card.

"Story Mode"

Displays the completion status for the Story Mode.
Uncompleted episodes are colored and completed episodes are gray.
Also displays the highest number of consecutive wins so far and the current number of consecutive wins.

"Local Arcade Versus Battle"

Displays the race results for Local Arcade Versus Battles.

"Race Results"

Displays the number of races and the number of outruns (number of rivals that you outrun to the goal).

"Driving Style"

Displays your driving status when racing as a "Driving Style."
　　　　Depending on contact with rivals: Cool←→Wild
　　　Depending on contact with walls, other cars, etc.: Smooth←→Rough

"Online Ghost Versus Battle Mode (Your Race Results)"

Displays your race results in the Online Ghost Versus Battle Mode.

"Dress-Up Level"

Displays your Dress-Up level earned in the Ghost Versus Battle Mode.
(Not shown for some models.)

"Your Race Results"

Displays the race results that you raced in the Online Ghost Versus Battle Mode.

"Maxi Coins Earned"

Displays the number of Maxi Coins earned in the Online Ghost Versus Battle Mode.

"Crowns Taken in this Arcade"

Displays the crowns (first place finishes) in any racing area if any have been earned in the arcade you're playing in.

"Online Ghost Versus Battle Mode (Your Ghost's Race Results)"

Displays your ghost's race results in the Online Ghost Versus Battle Mode.

"Your Ghost's Race Results"

Displays the race results against other player.

"Wins and Losses"

Displays the distance that your ghost won (or lost) by. Displays "Overwhelming Victory" or "Utter Defeat" if the difference is greater than 100 m.

"Opponents"

Displays the "Name" and "Registered" Location for opponents your ghost has raced.

"Model"

Displays the "model" used by your ghost's opponent.

"Racing Area"

Displays the racing area where your ghost raced.

"Settings"

Displays the settings of the opponent when your ghost raced.

"Location, - Race Date and Time"

Displays the arcade and the date/time that your ghost raced.
*Only the latest 10 people are displayed.
*Only displays the latest race results when your ghost was challenged by the same opponent multiple times.

"Time Attack Mode"

Displays your records in the Time Attack Mode.

"Course"

Displays the courses you can run in Time Attack Mode.

"Time"

Displays your "Personal Best Time" recorded in each course.

"Settings"

Displays your settings when you recorded your best personal time.

"National Rankings"

Displays your personal best time's rank in the country.

"National Model Classification"

Displays the national rank of your personal best time, separated by model classification.
*Press the Interruption Switch Button to stop scrolling.

"Settings Changes 1"

Change the settings in the game.

"Transmission"

Select between
AT (automatic transmission) / MT (manual transmission)

"Retire"

No / Yes
Select whether you want to be able to retire from the game (forced termination).
Retire by running backwards on a course for more than 3 seconds when it's set to "Yes."
Retire settings are valid outside of the Local Arcade Versus Battle.

Change the settings in the game.

"BGM Volume"

one / Low / Standard / High
Change the volume of the BGM.

"BGM Source"

Switch the BGM source when you have multiple sources.
