TOYOTA CELICA SUPRA
A highly aerodynamic body with retractable headlights gives the CELICA SUPRA a sharp and sporty impression. The engine featured a high displacement for its time and promised sustainable speed and stable driving performance at high speeds.
Sprinter Trueno (AE86)
A high power compact sports car with an FR layout, equipped with a 1.6 liter engine on a light body. Responsive control and easy tuning keeps this car popular even 30 years after it was released. Its true power is released in technical areas with consecutive corners.
Crown Athlete (GRS204)
A sedan that has a name with over 50 years of tradition. Its mature operation makes the driver thoroughly feel the richness of that accumulated history. Even with that, the "Athlete" subname is given to the sports models. Coupled with a body that had its overall height kept low, this sedan shows high maneuverability even among recent sedans.
Supra (JZA80)
This is Toyota's flagship model. It demonstrates steady performance from low speeds to ultra high speeds with a powerful torque that is born from its 3.0 liter inline-6 and its stable, wide body. It has some cornering weaknesses that come from its somewhat front-heavy weight distribution, but it's a high-speed machine that will compete for the top on the Wangan course.
Supra (JZA70)
This is the final model of the 70-frame Supra, which formerly participated in Group A races and rallies. It was Toyota's flagship specialty car model at the time. Its 2.5 liter inline-6 is the same as the Chaser's engine and it exhibits top-class performance among the Toyota cars of the day along with horsepower and torque. Its relatively large body is absolutely suited for the maximum speeds of the Wangan course.
MR2 (SW20)
It has a mid-engine layout, rare in mass production cars. Its basic chassis performance is high due to it using a mid-engine layout that can be said to be the foundation of racing cars. Its rear sometimes displays some slightly nervous movement due to commercial tire width regulations, but when the driver can manage that thrilling handling, it creates an incredible driving experience.
Chaser (JZX100)
It has high power while being a high-class sedan. The driver gets the impression that it's difficult to manage the large body, but its handling is good due to its FR layout and 4-door orthodox construction. It's recommended for 4-door enthusiasts.
Celsior (UCF10)
It's a big sedan that boasts the maximum displacement and maximum number of cylinders in this game. That surplus power is meant to give the driver a relaxed drive, and it's not meant for a frantic race. However, that surplus can become an intense "push" to overwhelm other cars when needing to make some adjustments in the race.
Aristo (JZS161)
It's a large 4-door sports sedan that has wide interior dimensions. Its maximum output is limited by voluntary restraints, but its high-displacement engine and twin turbo generate intense torque that surpasses lesser sports cars. The driver will be able to its power and flexibility because its transmission is a 4-speed.
